Truform pantyhose offer therapeutic graduated compression to restore leg health. Resembling high fashion hosiery, these medical grade pantyhose are made of an advanced microfiber that is smooth, soft, lightweight and comfortable. They are available in 2 colors and in different therapeutic compression levels to meet individual needs. The sheer pantyhose are available in firm and extra firm levels of compression, while the opaque are available in moderate and firm.
Guide for determining level of compression:
- Moderate (15-20 mmHg): leg fatigue and for use when traveling, minor swelling of ankle, leg or foot, spider veins or minor varicose veins
- Firm (20-30mmHg): moderate swelling, moderate varicose veins, prevention of venous ulcers; seldom recommended for a diabetic patient
- Extra firm (30-40 mmHg): severe swelling, lymphadema, severe varicose veins, chronic venous insufficiency, orthostatic hypotension, prevention of post-thrombotic syndrome; not recommended for a diabetic patient
