The new Neutral Thumb Resting Hand by RCAI features the thumb in a neutral position between palmar and radial abduction for arthritis, neurological impairment, brain injury, stroke or cerebral palsy. Made of lightweight, durable Kydex® plastic, the Neutral Thumb Resting Hand can be heat molded to meet individual patient needs. This hand maintains joint alignment, prevents contracture, reduces muscle spasticity, and increases range of motion. The washable, breathable moisture-wicking liner eliminates potential pressure points, while keeping the skin dry and comfortable. Sizing is based on the width of the palm.
