Product Overview
The EZ Stride ATB Anterior AFO is made of lightweight carbon fiber and is for gait correction due to moderate to severe foot drop. It features a single piece strut that spirals down from the front of the calf band across the tibia to either the left or right side of the patient's leg, depending on if the foot tends to roll inwards (pronates) or outwards (supinates). The "Y" cut-out in the calf band of this product is designed to relieve stress on the tibia, so is ideal for a patient who is sensitive to pressure in the tibia tuberosity area. The calf band is super flexible, accommodating a wide range of cialf circumferences and the brace is reinforced at high stress points, making it very durable. It is equipped with a dynamic footplate to store and release energy when walking, thus mimicking a natural gait. The weight limit for optimal use of this product is 275 pounds. Sizing is based on the length of the foot.
